2009 Recession Investment - Love Over Gold and Silver

Battle with Gold:

The situation has been changed. Investment in this safe zone is now a complicated and a risky task for business enterprises and individuals. Employment is rather more complicated than past years. And this is all happening because the plague of financial crisis is all around the globe.

The crisis started to show its impact from the middle of 2007 and 2008 when many stock markets crumbled and several other financial institutions collapsed bursting out the unemployment as the major issue in the country. Many wealthiest Nations were compiled to seek a rescue package to bail-out their financial systems. In this volatile financial condition it is obvious that investors are more concerned about safe investment so to survive in this thorny period of crisis. So what can be as simple as solution?

Today, it is the foremost question hovering in ever ones mind.

Invest In Gold & Silver:

Gold and silver has always been a better solution in the crucial period of financial crisis. Even in the great depression period (1932-1936) when the price of the gold was fixed by the government, the value of silver doubled rewarding its investors with good return. Similarly, in the next long bear market which was 1968-1980. Silver rose from around $2 in 1968 to a peak near $50 in 1980. It is the Economical trend that Gold stock will raise during inflation and during deflation. Investing in gold is good inflation protection. Where gold rises as the value of the dollar falls. And as the government lowers the interest rates significantly and wildly prints money creating inflation to offset that deflation. So, this leads to substantially higher gold prices. Thus, investing on gold coins lowers risk in our investment portfolio.

Reasons to Invest over Silver:

  • Silver is a precious metal that is used and valued as money. Because the supply of Silver can not simply be printed or supplies increased with a simple computer data entry, it retains its purchasing power over time. Expanding the supply of silver is a methodical, enduring process which requires significant human effort, investment, exploration, discovery, production, transportation and storage of a physical item. The precious metal element of an investment is very attractive when other currencies are losing their purchasing power.
  • Silver has unique characteristics that are nearly invaluable for commercial use. Silver is used and consumed by all modern societies. It is used in medical supplies, photography, computer chips and in ever increasing aspect of our lives. Because most products such as a computer require a very small quantity of the metal in the finished product, the users of the metal will pay nearly any price for silver in a potential shortage. With great up and coming nations such as China and India with billions of new consumers, commercial demand for silver is yet one more extremely bullish factor to consider.
  • Another key reason to invest in silver is the acknowledgment of "paper silver" and its negative impact on the price of real silver. Paper silver is a paper contract representing silver that may not necessarily be backed by an actual physical silver bar. E.g.:
  • Financial institutions currently sell silver certificates for pooled silver accounts. We understand these pooled account certificates may be well in excess of actual silver available anywhere in the world. Any short position held by institutions is potentially a huge suppressant to the free market silver price.
  • The futures markets are another example of a paper contract representing physical silver. It is believed there are more short contract positions in the silver futures markets than can be physically delivered if required. This unnatural condition may be another price appreciation inhibitor.
  • In silvers price spikes exceptionally like in 1970's when silver climbed from under two dollars to over fifty dollars. This is an aggressive appreciation of about 2700%. We believe we are currently in similar market conditions and could potentially have a repeat of this significant growth.

Reasons to invest over Gold:
  • According to the World Gold Council, members of the Central Bank Gold Agreement sold 297 metric tones of gold so far in this agreement year. This suggests that the full 500 tone quota will not be released to the markets this year. Less supply usually means a higher price.
  • Production from the world's gold mines remains flat. The big gold price increases seen over the past few years has not stimulated any significant global gold production increase. Indeed, output may well show a small decline over the next few years. Production is already falling off a cliff in South Africa, formerly the world's biggest gold producer.
  • Jewelry demand in India, the biggest fabrication market on Earth, is beginning to pick up again while emerging markets like China and Vietnam are having a sharp impact as their populations get more money and therefore buy more gold.
  • SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) formerly known as Street Tracks Gold ETF, which exchange-traded fund holds physical gold and tracks the metal very closely. As inflation takes off and the value of the dollar goes down, gold should go up.

Hearing Fade? Hearing Aid? Hearing Paid

Suppose two people are having a normal conversation, and the person speaking says in a normal voice...you really need to go to the doctor and find out about a hearing aid. The other person hears the entire sentence, but is not sure about the last word and asks the first person to repeat the sentence. This is a common occurrence and is an early indication of hearing loss unless of course the problem is due to ear wax, which can be removed by cleaning. Now if nothing is done, it won't necessarily lead to more hearing loss, but it will make it more difficult to correct later on.

So what comes next? Many people will seek advise from their friends, or visit their doctor, but most will seek a hearing aid provider and after testing and consultation, purchase a hearing aid.

Unfortunately, hearing aid sales is a business and like all businesses, is driven by the bottom line, so it is in the buyers best interest to educate him or herself and learn as much as they can about hearing aids.

Hearing is essential to fully enjoying and participating in life, but one in ten Americans, more than 31 million, experience some degree of hearing loss. This makes it our third most chronic health condition, after arthritis and high blood pressure.

How can you tell if someone you love might benefit from hearing aids? Here are a few things to look for. Friends or family often have to repeat what they say. There is frustration from not clearly understanding others. Trouble understanding speech on television at normal sound levels. Trouble understanding speech when background noise is present. Embarrassment from being unable to hear when meeting new people.

Now that baby boomers have endured and entered the scene, bringing with them a greater increase in noise pollution than any other generation, people from all walks of life and of all ages can be affected and it is no longer age that is the leading cause of hearing loss.

The next step is to schedule an appointment with an approved counselor at a hearing clinic, and begin the process of education and evaluation to determine the correct hearing aid to fit your needs.

Breakthrough Technology Helps Chiropractors And Other Health Providers Bring Chinese Medicine Into The 21st Century

Every day thousands of people head to their chiropractor’s office for an adjustment. They have a variety of complaints and ailments and the chiropractor is there to assist them in feeling better. But what if chiropractic could be combined with other alternative therapies to assist these patients to obtain optimum health and wellness?

That’s the question that chief medical officer of Intemedica, John Diamond, is answering. Dr. Diamond, a physician trained as a pathologist, got into alternative healing almost twenty years ago as a result of his own health crises. “As far as I’m concerned, complementary and alternative medicine takes care of 80% of health issues in the general population.”

Diamond believes the medical field is about to undergo an amazing transformation in the way it operates and delivers healing to patients. He believes primary care physicians will become obsolete by the year 2015 and in their place will spring alternative healing concepts such as chiropractors, Chinese medicine practitioners, acupuncturists and naturopaths. This is in reaction to the insurance crises going on in our country today. “The way medicine is going right now we’re moving away from the disease model. We’re moving to what we call the stress and coping model.” Diamond believes that alternative and natural healing methods will best complement these changing models.

Dr. Diamond, working with other individuals, has come up with a new and fascinating way to utilize this stress and coping model with what he calls GSR biofeedback, a process similar to electro acupuncture. By simply placing a hand in an electrical cradle, the machine interrogates the patient’s body and provides a wealth of information about where the stresses are occurring in the body. Connected to a computer program, information is also compiled regarding which specific formulas of Chinese herbs would best be suited to help the patient with whatever their specific needs are – and all in about three and a half minutes.

How can chiropractors utilize this technology in their offices and how can it help them not only increase value for their patients but also increase their bottom line? According to Diamond it’s simple. “We have a whole system that is very easily put into anybody’s office with minimal outlay,” says Diamond.

Once doctors have this equipment and stock in their offices, it takes only about thirty minutes to learn how to use it. All it takes is the ability to point and click the mouse. All updates to the software are done via the internet, as well as anything that’s added to the program.

But can this program really add value to the chiropractic practice? Do alternative healing methods really work? According to Diamond the answer to both questions is a resounding yes. Any staff member, such as a chiropractic assistant, can operate the equipment, which leaves the chiropractor free to do adjustments. Also, Diamond has had independent data taken on the effectiveness of his healing methods and found that out of 100,000 patient visits over the last eighteen years, the average efficacy of his formulas was 86% - some formulas were as high as 97%. He’s also found that with the minimum outlay of investment, the average practice can see anywhere between $5-8000 a month in extra income while providing added value for their patients.

Concerning any negative side effects, Diamond also has found there are fairly few. With sensitive patients the Chinese herbs can cause gastric irritation and in some patients there may be a problem with over detoxification, but these negatives are easily resolved. Says Diamond, “Traditional Chinese medicine is easily adapted to our physiology because it’s plant based. Anything plant based we’re very used to responding to. It’s not really an issue.”

For more information about this program, contact Intemedica at http://www.intemedica.com. Says Diamond, “Right now 50 million of the U.S. population is without any kind of health care. You have to keep yourself healthy to survive in this stressful and toxic world.”

A Few Tips to Consider When Buying a Hearing Aid

When you're in the market for a new hearing aid, wading through all of the information and resources can be a challenge. There are a few key points, though, that you can use to help guide your decision making process as prepare to buy an aid.

Overall Performance

First and foremost, you want to find a hearing aid that performs at a high level of success in amplifying and clarifying sound. Digital sound processing is a relatively new feature that offers directional amplification, and has the ability to distinguish different types of sounds. What that means for the wearer is that background noises will stay in the background, voices will be amplified, and the most accurately reproduced sound possible will be heard.

Background Noise Cancellation

The best hearing aids on the market are ones that successfully reduce the distraction of background noise. Individuals who are suffering from mild to moderate hearing loss very often complain that background noise makes hearing general conversations much more difficult. New hearing aids that are on the market are designed to cancel out ambient noise and clarify other sounds.

Cosmetic Appearance

Aids come in all shapes and sizes, but the best hearing aid for one person isn't necessarily going to the best for another's lifestyle. Cosmetic appearance plays a big role in overall satisfaction of those who wear hearing aids.

Cost & Value

The reality is that cost is a major factor in the type and style of hearing aid that you choose. Many name brand hearing devices can cost $3,000 or more for the device itself, with additional costs added on by the multiple doctor's visits often required to obtain the hearing aid. More affordable alternatives are available for much less, and offer the best value and high return on investment.

The Top Three Barbie Games

While those are fun tasks, there is much more to Barbie games than most parents realize. If you decide to bite the plastic bullet and spend an afternoon playing Barbie games with your youngster, you can expect her to be playing one of the top three Barbies games enjoyed by young girls.

Dress Up

The most common game, especially with younger girls, is a simple game of dress up. Barbies come with a huge assortment of outfits, and there is nothing more rewarding than putting together an outfit and seeing the final product on your very own Barbie doll. Children learning to dress themselves might actually use Barbie dolls as a way to practice the critical skills, but for the most part, dressing up Barbie is just plain fun.

If you want to give your child a special treat, you don't need to buy her a new Barbie doll to add to the collection. Rather than spending your money on one doll with one outfit, surprise her with five new outfits that she can mix and match for her current Barbie doll. You might just have a young fashionista in the making.

Character Play

Once your child starts developing an active imagination, you can expect to hear voices coming from her Barbies - provided by your child, of course. This game is character play where each Barbie is assigned a role, or many roles, in an unfolding drama. The Princess Barbie needs help from the Friendly Barbie to defeat the Evil Barbie in time to hop in the Barbie Jeep and pick up Ken for a hot Barbie date.

When you play with your child during this sort of Barbie game, be sure you listen and understand the game and story before jumping in. Some children become incredibly agitated when the story changes unexpectedly. You might think it's funny to add Super Barbie to the mix, but she'll likely see it as an intrusion. Rather than grabbing a doll and making a new character, get her instructions on which character you should be in the current game she's playing.

Online Barbie Games

The newest form of Barbie game takes your child online. There are countless Barbie games online that let your child dress up Barbie in more outfits than you can imagine. The latest fashions are available on websites featuring dress up games, and with new outfits and dolls added daily, it's not hard to see why spending time online with Barbie is a new favorite activity of young girls.

Playing online Barbie games is simple enough. You should let your daughter have creative control, but you can encourage even more creativity by making up a story about why the doll is wearing a particular outfit or dressing different dolls for different roles in a story she's been working on. Then you can print the completed Barbies and have custom puppets ready to take on their designed characters.

Greg Reyes - Possessing a Good Character in Doing the Right Things

I write this letter as a son, a husband, and a father of three great children. My wife and I participate in many charities, primarily focused on helping abused or under-privileged children, and abused or sexually assaulted mothers. We also raise bison in Colorado and annually donate bison to Native American tribes that are interested in re-starting a bison herd. I also write this letter as a 22 year veteran and Executive in the high-technology industry.

Greg Reyes and I met roughly three years ago. I have known of Greg and have worked for a business partner of Brocade for the past nine years. We share many of the same friends and I was introduced to Greg socially by one of these mutual friends. My conversations with Greg over the past couple of years have focused on Greg's family, who I have been lucky enough to spend time with, and the impact the case was having on his family.

My impression of Greg is as a great husband, great son, a great father, and good, solid friend to many. From a business perspective, Greg was part of the leadership of a complete category within the data storage industry, the storage area network.

The allegations of this case have been surprising to me regarding the implications of Greg's character. In every discussion I have had with Greg, it is clear that Greg possesses a strong character to always attempt to do what is right as a husband, as a father, and in business.

Based on the facts presented during this case, it is tough for me to understand who the actual Victims are. It feels to me that the people receiving the greatest negative impact art Greg and his family. Respectfully, I ask that as you consider the sentencing in this case, that compassion to the impact to Greg and his family is a strong considering factor.

Early Action Proving Crucial to Hearing Success

Before we begin, let's discuss what we hope you will learn through this article. Then we can begin to piece it together for you.

When she didn't encounter the common increase mental milestones of the first year crawling, ranking and verdict her first idiom doctors veteran her for highbrow palsy and beefy dystrophy. Nothing crooked up helpful. Lastly, it was her 10-year-old brother who announced one day, I don't think Hailey can consider.

She was 14 months old, and her brother was right.

Had Hailey been untrained in the sickbay, she would have been given a considering hardship. When she here in 2001, such show was voluntary but custom in the Cincinnati sickbay where her mother, Mary, planned to give birth; nowadays, it is mandatory in 40 states and generally performed in the other 10.

If you have completely read through the first half of this article, the second part will be a snap to understand.

But considering specialists fear that many deaf or considering-impaired babies who bomb the show are not making it to the next echelon of harshening a more spirited considering exam in which an audiologist uses an EEG-like zombie that report the brains answer to sound.

Pediatricians lean to interval and see, however, because only 25 percent of newuntraineds who get to the moment scaffold of harshening bear out to have considering impairments that compel intervention. This is especially dedicated when parents say their babies established or react to the sound of a being declare.

But considering harm can stretch from mild to profound deafness, and that is the advantage of the shot to select newuntraineds. We indigence to pinpoint children early and bestow them with considering tools and guidance by the time they are 6 months, said Dr. John Greenwood, a pediatric topologist at Cincinnati Children's hospice health core. Studies now settle that the before the intervention, the better the attempt that the child will increase snooping and idiom skills.

If you consider from birth, you learn to snoop, said Anne Oilier, an audiologist for the American idiom, talking and earshot Association. More than 90 percent of what babies learn is from incidental snooping. If a child isn't integral with considering aids pending 2, that is when he or she will have to establish education what sounds are. If we clip kids in the first few months, we don't see delays and they do beautifully.

New untrained show is just the first move on the avenue to diagnosis and healing. For the show, a machine is sited into the ear of a sleeping child and sounds are piped in while an audiologist watches to see if whiskers cells in the interior ear react. The show has led to early intervention: some babies are integral with considering aids at 4 to 6 months. (Profoundly deaf children can have cochlear embed surgery by their first birthday, however doctors caution that not all deaf people are good candidates for the embeds.)

One in every 1,000 children are untrained deaf 90 percent of them to parents with no considering impairments and up to 1 in 100 have some considering harm. As just as the 1990s, such evils regularly went undetected and natural pending age 2 to 4.

Even now, many parents of newuntraineds will not accept the diagnosis, says Abbey L. Berg, executive of the new untrained considering show series at Morgan Stanley Children's hospice of New York-Presbyterian. Parents can be in rejection and, at slightest primarily, outraged.

Ms. Oilier, whose association has been analyzing the things of the new mandated show series, said, earshot harm, is disguised. And preliminary prove suggests that many children are lessening through the cracks; one current consider found that parents of 34 percent of newuntraineds who bombed the early show did not make them back for the more rigorous diagnostic hardship.

Even some states that compel new untrained show do not have series to help very little children learn to snoop and preach.

Lacking early healing, these children will not have a good communication procedure in place, Dr. Greenwood say. This can product in a number of education and behavioral evils.

David coffee, executive of audio logical explore at Cincinnati Children's, added: By receiving them early enough, we can change their lives.

As for Hailey Elms, now 6, she was integral with considering aids presently after her brothers observation. By her moment birthday, she had a cochlear embed in one ear. Inside months, she reached her childhood milestones. Last September, her parents indemnity guests standard an embed for her other ear as well.

Hailey has been instructed at Ohio Valley Voices, where deaf children are trained to preach, and is now ingoing a native elementary instruct. The only thing that will set her distant from her classmates is a small preacher for her counter and a microphone that her teachers will attrition to help increase the sounds of her teaching.

When she meeting, no one knows that she is deaf, Ms. Elms said. She preaches so wholly that some people ask if she is British.

From beginning to end, this article has helped you to learn more about this topic than you probably thought you would ever know.

The DS, or Nintendo DS, is an advanced technology apparatus that plays video games on a duel screen monitor. It is a handheld game system that allows gaming enthusiasts to bring high quality games with them when they are on the road or otherwise unable to play a counsel system. However, with the DS, has become a standalone system that has most gamers itching to try it. It was developed and produced by the Nintendo organization and was released in 2004 in multiple countries including Canada, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom. The clamshell design is similar to the Game Boy Advance, which was the predecessor to the Nintendo DS, but the Nintendo DS has duel screens with the lower one being designed as a touch screen.

Download DS Games
Though there are some problems with downloadable DS games, they hardly outweigh the possible positives when it comes to these games. Downloadable DS games are games that can be downloaded off the wireless internet that is available for the Nintendo DS. These games are similar to WiiWare games in that they are not usually full length games, but they are still fantastically composed and capable of providing hours of gaming fun. There are even some free downloadable DS games available, but these are rarer than the purchased ones.
A few cons to downloadable DS games include the fact that the download speed is relatively poor. When downloading a game for the DS, it can take many minutes, even hours in some extreme cases. This can be more than a little frustrating for those that want to just play the game.
Another problem is that there is a possibility for an adware infiltration which can potentially do damage to the DS. However, this is only caused by poor usage of the wireless internet system.
These few cons are not enough to make the whole of the system poor. The Nintendo DS has many games online that may be downloaded on the SD card of the system. This can allow numerous downloadable games to be purchased or downloaded on a single system. The downloadable games for the DS are also very fun and very addicting. They can provide just as much if not more fun that any retail game for the DS or a consol alike. Once the games are downloaded there are usually no problems with operation.

How To Get The Most From Online Psychic Readings

Getting online psychic readings can open a person up to a world of frauds and those looking to only get money. It can be hard for a person to determine who is real and who is not. It helps to be armed with some important information before a person ever starts looking for a psychic reader.

There are generally two different types of psychic readers online. There are those who work for a company and those who have a private practice. Whether a person works for a company or for themselves is not an indication of if they are real or not. Sometimes a whole company can be a fake and sometimes individuals can be a fake. It goes either way. However, it helps to know if they are with a company or not. Sometimes companies offer a better chance of getting a refund then an individual. Sometimes individuals are more flexible. There are pros and cons to each.

When looking at companies it is important to see what type of testing procedures they have in their hiring process. If the company does not test their readers before hiring them then it is best to stir clear of them. Additionally, it helps to see what their refund policy is and if they keep records of the readings. Many online psychic readings are done in chat rooms or through email. If the reading is on record that can help when trying to get a refund.

With individuals it is smart to ask for references. They should be able to provide at least two happy clients for you to contact. Also check about what will happen if you are not satisfied.

As mentioned, most online psychic readings are done through chat rooms or email. In a chat room situation the client gets to talk with the reader as the reading is happening. It is like being face to face with the reader in some aspects. Chat room readings are nice because of the interaction. The client can ask questions and get clarification, if needed. Email readings can also be nice. Usually the reader will allow for follow up question, if needed, so the client can get clarification. Email readings are great for complex situations because the reader has time to work on the reading and isn’t pressured into giving immediate answers.

There are endless options in online psychic readings. There are many companies who have psychic readers online 24 hours a day. If a person wants an online psychic reading they will have no trouble finding a place to get one. However, as mentioned it is also easy to get scammed. Some of the signs of a scam include, readers who give vague answers to questions, no refund policy, no management contact information, a business that is fairly new with no references and pricing that is higher than the average.

Online psychic readings are usually much cheaper than phone readings. Online readings are usually booked according to a set amount of time. For email readings the readings are priced according to the question type or the length of the reading. In general, a person can expect to pay between $60 and $100 for a half hour online chat room readings and from $20 and up for an email reading.

Online psychic readings give a person the freedom to get a psychic reading whenever they want. They can also research the reader better than they can with a phone reading. Many times a person will find that online psychic readings offer a much better quality, too, than phone readings. For anyone looking to get a psychic reading, online readings are a great choice.

Greenhouses - what do you grow in yours?

A garden is like a blank canvas, in which you can put almost anything you want. Whether it’s a place to sit, or things to eat, or just things to look at, you can put them in your garden – an outdoor space of your very own.

The most common thing to do with gardens is to fill them with plants, especially grass lawns, but also bushes and trees. It can be very rewarding to see what you planted only a few months ago starting to take root – and then, over the years, seeing it grow larger and thrive. While it takes care and attention, gardening is a hobby that many people feel they can get into.

Once you’re good enough to plant flowers and bushes and have them survive from season to season, you might even feel brave enough to start growing some of your own food. There are many crops you can grow even in a modestly-sized garden that will produce a lot of food and taste very good when you harvest them – root vegetables like potatoes and carrots work very well, as do berry bushes and apple trees. Food tastes much better when you know you’ve grown it yourself, and you save money too.

If you’re less green fingered than that, you can put other things in your garden apart from plants. It’s not difficult to build a brick barbecue, for example, get some chairs and invite people round. You might like to build a patio or decking where you can sit away from the garden itself but still outdoors. Various kinds of paths and rock features are also popular things to put in a garden, as are decorative ornaments like garden gnomes and model birds. If you’re a fan of fish and water life, you can even dig yourself a pond, and get various animals and plants to put in it.

What You Need to Know Before Buying a Hearing Aid

You finally get up the nerve to go to the hearing aid office and get your ears tested. They break the news that you need a hearing aid. Your mind is swimming with visions of having to wear that huge thing on your ear. How could this have happened? Why me?! And then they start telling you about all of the different types you can get. All that terminology just goes right over your head. Don't they know your in shock! How on earth can you make a decision when you don't even know what they're talking about!

There are hundreds of different hearing aids. It can be a very complicated world of technological terms. Sometimes, those of us that work with hearing aids all the time can forget just how foreign they can sound to you. To make matters worse, the manufacturers like to call things different names, so they sound like something different. No wonder there's so much confusion!

I am going to try to unravel some of the mystery for you. When you get down to it, there are really only a few terms you need to understand.

There are seven primary styles of hearing aids: ITE, Half Shell, ITC, Mini Canal, CIC, BTE, and Open Ear.

In the Ear (ITE) ITE's are the largest custom style of hearing aid. They fill the bowl of your ear and can have the most power and features available.

Half Shell (HS) The Half Shell fills about half the bowl of your ear. They are able to have a good deal of power and features, use a smaller battery, but are more cosmetically appealing.

In the Canal (ITC) The next smallest size is the custom ITC. Harder to see than the larger hearing aids, but also not able to have as much power or as many features.

Mini Canal (MC) Smaller than the ITC hearing aid, the custom mini canal uses a smaller battery and has even less power available. Features can also be more limited.

Completely in the Canal (CIC) The CIC is the smallest custom in the ear hearing aid and very popular due to its cosmetic appeal and ease of use. There are usually no manual controls on a CIC, telephone usage is often better because they are less likely to whistle. Lack of power is the main reason people cannot use this style, though a small ear canal may keep you from being able to wear one also.

Behind the Ear (BTE) This hearing instrument sits behind your ear and is connected to your ear by a tube with an earmold. BTE hearing aids have the most power and features available.

Open Ear (OE) and Receiver in Canal (RIC) This hearing aid is a fairly new style of BTE made available in recent years and are much smaller then a traditional BTE. They are meant primarily for high frequency hearing loss. It is connected to your ear by a very thin tube or wire with a small earbud on the tip. They are called Open Ear because they leave the ear canal less blocked than other styles of hearing aid.

Important Features:

Directional Microphones - These are available on most BTE, OE, ITE, Half Shell, and ITC styles of hearing aids. They are the best feature you can have on your hearing aid for hearing in noisy places, such as restaurants. (They reduce sounds from behind, so that it does not interfere with the sound in front of you) Directional microphones can be automatic; they automatically turn on when the sound level in the room gets too loud. Some are also be adaptive, which means they can follow moving sounds, or reduce several different sounds at the same time.

Noise Reduction - Noise reduction doesn't really reduce noise, it reduces amplification in the frequencies where there is noise and no speech. If there is a fan running in the background, the hearing aid will not amplify it as much as it will speech. When the hearing aid finds both speech and noise at a frequency, you still get both. More advanced the hearing instruments manage noise better by breaking the frequencies up into smaller pieces.

Memories - There are two types of memories available on a hearing aid, manual and automatic. Many hearing aids have a push button that allows you to have different settings (memories) for different situations such as quiet places, noisy places, and music or telephone. The hearing aid beeps when you push the button to let you know which memory you are using. Advanced hearing aids can have memories that are automatic. Instead of pushing a button, the hearing aid does it for you! Some hearing aids can even have a combination of both.

Feedback Cancellation - Feedback (or that annoying whistling sound) is the number one complaint people have about hearing aids. Most hearing aid wearers experience feedback when they put their hand over their ear, or use the phone. Feedback Cancellation will take down the amount of feedback (whistling) that you hear.

Bands / Channels - Bands are what we use to adjust the volume in a hearing aid. More bands means more control when we program the hearing instrument to your hearing loss.

Channels are used to adjust the part of the hearing aid that keeps the sound from getting too loud. Channels can also refer to the hearing aid noise reduction system. For noise reduction, more channels is definitely better because the hearing aid can break the sound up into smaller pieces and isolate noise from speech.

These are the main things you need to understand about your hearing aid. If you really want the best one for you, I recommend you focus on telling your professional what benefits you want from your hearing instrument. Let them know what frustrates you to give them a better idea of how they can help you. Their goal is to help you hear better, and when that happens, everyone wins.

General information on hearing aids

Hearing aids have been manufactured and designed for people who need assistance to make sounds accessible. They cannot correct hearing loss but can enhance and help you to improve your lifestyle. Not only could they improve on hearing sounds but may help with your speech.

Hearing aids are electronic and are operated with a battery sensing devices which can improve all levels hearing needs by adjusting the appropriate signal. Majority of hearing aids today have two appliances which work independently. The hearing aid could help with your speech as you should hear clearer and how the words are spoken.

When you go to choose a hearing aid the audiologist should look at your hearing ability, take into account home and work situations, medical conditions, any physical limitations and cosmetic preferences which should provide them with enough information and understanding to suggest the best hearing aid for you. Remember you must be comfortable with the hearing aid and be able to ask if you need a different one.

Amplification can be a reasonably effective treatment for people who are hard of hearing but it has been met with resistance. Amplification can assist with speech understanding even in a busy and noisy location.

Most people don’t understand loss of hearing whether it be sensor neural or conductive, they tend to speak slower or louder thinking this will help the person hear and understand. With a hearing aid no one will need to be treated any different which could save uncomfortable and embarrassing situations especially with strangers and help you to lead a normal life.

Installing stairlifts

Installing a stairlift into the home is a complex and skilled task and should only be tackled by a trained professional who will ensure a correct fit and user safety.

A stairlift basically consists of two elements;

1) The Track -Straight or Curved rail leading up the stairs.
2) The Powered Chair - Comprising of a seat, footrest, armrests and control unit mounted on the track.

Prior to instillation the majority of stair lift companies will complete a survey to evaluate the environment that the stairlift will be fitted prior to confirming the final quotation.

As part of this survey the engineer will assess the condition of the stairs as the track or rail will be secured to it and so will be subject to the weight of stairlift and the user.

If the stairs are sound the first stage of an installation is to lay the track on the side of the stairs which offers the best access and user experience (normally discussed with customer during the site survey). A track is normally fixed to the stairs by using brackets screwed directly into the stair tread (the top of the stair). The track can be supported entirely by brackets or rest on the stairs themselves depending on the make and model. A track is normally supplied by the manufacture in smaller sections which are connected by the engineer to complete the installation.

When the track has been successfully installed the motor is generally installed next and the wiring work is completed.

Finally the seat is simply attached to the track and the motor and the stairlift will be ready for testing by the engineer.

A curved stairlift causes a more intensive installation as the track is required to follow the curves of the wall. Generally curved stairlifts are considerably more expensive to purchase due to increased installation time and more complex engineering required within the product.

A standard straight stairlift can normally be fitted in 1-2 hours depending on specification.

How to choose smart Stop Loss in Forex Trading

Here is step by step guide:

1. If price is close to recent high or low then place SL 5-10 pips above or below that point. This is very important. Prices do go back to test recent highs and lows and we need to set SL as per the recent price action. Trading on daily chart is bit tricky where such SL can be even 30-40 pips more on top of your static 100 pip SL.

2. Another point to take care is that don’t place SL on important boundary numbers such as 00 or 50 mark. These points are tested often and you can easily be stopped out.

3. Place your stop loss on odd numbers excluding 1 and 9. Never place SL on even numbers.

Believe It or Not!!!

Let me surprise some of you by saying that Brokers HUNT for your SL. That’s true. Forex is unlike Dow where everything is run by one organization and prices don’t vary from broker to broker (those broker makes money by giving you a worse fill than you would expect + commissions). Brokers in Forex can manipulate prices as they like and hence they go after your SL.

Now why brokers will want to you to loose?? Well every time you open a position, a broker opens an opposite position. So when you loose they win. They also want you trade more often, since they make money either in commission or spreads (or both). The only way they can force you to trade again is to stop you out.

Why you think brokers give out free market research and trading ideas?? If all of their traders are trading the same way then it is easier for them to take them out.

I am sure that some people would disagree (the ones working for broker J ) but it is something to think about.

So How To Beat The Brokers:

Simple, don’t place any Stop Loss. That’s right. It is not a typo. What you need is a Mental SL. You should know at price you will take your losses and set up alarms on your trading station when the price reach close to the mental SL you had in place. This can be challenging for some people but if you are lucky enough to get this working then there is nothing like it.

Hope this helps you in placing better SL from now on.

Common Hearing Aid Myths

MYTH: Hearing aids will cure hearing loss or restore a hearing impaired individual’s hearing to normal.

TRUTH: No hearing aid will ever allow a hearing impaired individual to have normal hearing. A hearing aid just cannot provide what the ear and its intricate working of nerves can. What it can do is amplify sounds so that those wearing them can benefit from and enjoy a wide variety of listening situations. Hearing better helps one to respond appropriately thus improving communication skills.

MYTH: Hearing aids will resolve all of a hearing impaired individual’s communication difficulties.

TRUTH: This is impossible, although hearing aids go a long way in helping a hearing impaired individual with their communication skills. Hearing aid wearers often still have problems following conversations when background noise is present or in noisy public settings, thus inhibiting their ability to communicate effectively in those situations.

MYTH: Hearing aids will destroy residual hearing.

TRUTH: Since hearing aids are prescribed according to an individual wearer’s specific hearing loss, it would be a rare occurrence for a hearing aid to cause further damage to a person’s hearing. There are several things a hearing impaired individual can do to further reduce the possibility of damage caused by hearing aids. They must be well maintained, worn correctly and well fitted.

MYTH: Smaller hearing aids have better technology.

TRUTH: Both larger hearing aids and smaller ones are equipped with cutting edge technology. The two most common types of hearing aids are behind the ear (BTE) and completely in the canal (CIC) hearing aids. Whether or not an individual will be able to wear a hearing aid that is nearly invisible to a casual observer, depends on the type of hearing impairment they have. The hearing aid that is most appropriate for one person’s degree of impairment or listening needs, may not necessarily be best suited to another person.

MYTH: Hearing aids are not absolutely necessary for relatively minor hearing losses.

TRUTH: It is not advisable to put off obtaining hearing aids until hearing loss becomes a bigger problem. Over time the risk of permanent sound distortion increases. In this case, even when hearing aids amplify the volume of the spoken word it can still sound garbled.

MYTH: Hearing aids will not be effective for some types of hearing losses.

TRUTH: Generations ago people with certain types of hearing losses, such as high frequency, were told there was little or no help out there for them. With advances in hearing aid technology this is no longer true. Hearing aids are now effective for at least 95 % of hearing impaired individuals.

MYTH: Babies can’t be fitted with hearing aids.

TRUTH: Actually infants as young as a month old can be fitted with hearing aids. With the increase in hearing tests for at risk newborns, hearing impairments are being detected earlier then ever and the world of hearing aid research and technology is doing its best to keep pace.

MYTH: It doesn’t matter where hearing aids are purchased.

TRUTH: While buying hearing aids through mail order or off the internet may be less expensive, it is not necessarily advisable. By purchasing through these venues, a hearing aid consumer may be giving up the quality of care they will get by working with an audiologist. This includes things such as a qualified hearing evaluation, professional recommendations as to the most appropriate type of hearing aid, expert instruction regarding proper hearing aid usage, follow up care, etc.

Alcohol and Family

Throughout the centuries there have been countless stories of the destructive nature of alcohol. Virtually every historical document dealing with the ethics or morality of a nation warns against the abuse of alcohol. Even today, some nations and religious groups go so far as banning the use of alcohol altogether.

It is widely known what happens to the family unit that suffers with the disease of alcoholism. Whether the alcoholic is mother or father, son or daughter, they are a raging hurricane that mercilessly plows through, destroying the lives of everyone in their path. Luckily today, there are places an alcoholic can go to get the help they need and get their lives back on track.

There is some speculation as to who may be prone to becoming an alcoholic. One theory is the predisposition of particular genes in DNA passed down from the parent. It is assumed if the "potential" alcoholic is lacking particular genes, they have a greater chance of becoming alcoholic. In this sense, alcoholism could be classified as a hereditary disease, passing down from generation to generation. But no one knows for sure what makes a person an alcoholic.

The disease of alcoholism and the family is still a very secretive thing in our society today. Most of us have had friends, if not ourselves, who have had/ do have an alcoholic parent or family member. This secret isn't usually shouted from the rooftops but kept under lock and key and hidden away. No one is ever usually too proud to have an alcoholic in their family.

The alcoholic can be an enigma; one moment calm, loving, peaceful and then the next moment (with or without a few drinks) full of rage, hateful and warring. Like a flipping coin, you may never know how it's going to end up. Some like to call it the Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde syndrome. This can cause fear and insecurity in a family that is already on edge and walking on eggshells.

When drinking, the alcoholic can be a loathsome creature who may be physically and/or emotionally abusive; the cause of social embarrassment, predatory, aggressive, the list goes on. They can also be the complete opposite, isolating themselves and being antisocial. They may be emotionally unavailable, extremely depressed and full of self-pity. Sadly these behaviors can continue on for months, years, and if they never seek help, for the rest of their lives.

The alcoholic is usually the center of attention for the family, needing attention and rarely contributing or giving back and always in trouble or in a crisis. Over time, this wears deeply on the family members and, in a sense, they become sick themselves. If the alcoholic is having a good day, the family is having a good day. If the alcoholic is having a bad day, the family is having a bad day. This is codependence which commonly develops among family members of an alcoholic.

Luckily there are support groups for family members who live, or have lived, with an alcoholic. There are numerous programs available like: Al Anon for family members of an alcoholic; Ala-teen for teenagers of alcoholics and ACoA for adult children of alcoholics. If you have lived with or do live with an alcoholic, there are others like you who now live happy and purposeful lives. You are not alone.

If you would like more information on alcohol and drug addiction, you can find it here: Alcohol Rehab.

Patrick McLemore is a recovering alcoholic and addict. Patrick has worked with the Manor House Recovery Center for the last two years providing guidance to numerous recovering alcoholics and addicts.

Living with an alcoholic is a very fragile existence, the relationship always undermined by a breach of trust or a potential breach of trust. Find out at http://www.livingwithanalcoholic.org on how to deal with it.

Credit Cards: What Do Psychologists Have to Say about It?

The number one rule when you are choosing a credit card deal is to consider your spending habits. You should always keep in mind where you like to shop, how much balance you usually carry on your plastic and whether you spend enough to qualify for those rewards and cash backs. So it is obvious, that your credit card choice depends on your spending habits. However, your spending habits are greatly influenced by credit cards.
Psychological studies have shown that consumer behavior of those using credit is different from those paying with cash. The following experiment was conducted at one of the American universities. Two groups of people were bidding on the same items. Members of one group could only bid with cash, the others were allowed to bid only with credit cards. The result of the experiment was quite interesting. Those who could bid with credit cards ended up making bets twice as high as those made by participants paying with cash.
That means that every dollar spent with a credit card equals 50 cents spent in cash. In other words, people shopping with credit cards spend twice as much as those shopping cash. Why does this happen?
Buying things is pleasant. Paying for them is not. Usually a consumer tries to find a balance so that the pleasure of having overweighs the pain of paying for it. When a credit card holder uses his or her plastic pleasant consumption transaction is disconnected from the unpleasant payment transaction.
Of course, you still have to pay for what you have bought. According to scientific data people dislike paying credit card bills even more than paying parking tickets. But still, people enjoy buying something with a credit card more.
Studies have shown that even a credit card logo on a catalogue or a debit card excites people. This is another wonderful way to increase sales and many merchants know that.
So are credit cards enticing you to overspend? Pretty much so. So are credit card-issuers to blame for the increased credit card debt? Well, that would not be quite fare to say so.
Even though a consumer seems to spend more with a credit card but most people are able to stop when they know they are about to exceed the limit. And we are not talking about credit card limit, but the limit they have set for themselves, something like ‘I won’t pay for a pair of shoes more than 100 bucks’. Credit cards might make you spend more but they do not force you to overspend.
Rather, high interest rates and fees and those unpleasant credit card bills make consumers stop. People do not like giving money, especially to banks. From this standpoint overspending is more likely to happen when shopping with cash than with a credit card.
Credit card deals can be very beneficial for consumers if used wisely. Of course, they sometimes make you to spend more, especially if you want to get a cash back or earn bonus miles. But the decision is always yours. You are the only one who can answer the crucial question – to spend, or not to spend…

Going Green without Spending Green

We have this mistaken idea that to go green, we have to spend green dollars. Well, actually, you do not need to strain your budget just to adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle. In fact, you will be fattening up your wallets with these tips on going green without spending your green dollars. And trust us, these ways are easy, effective and convenient.

Reduce Food Waste

Your grocery bill may constitute more than 50 percent of your total household bills. Thus, any and all efforts to reduce food waste will add up to big benefits to your pockets and to the environment for many reasons. You can achieve this end by:

* Reducing your food consumption in terms of shopping for groceries.
* Using leftovers for new dishes and enforcing a no-dregs policy
* Planning meals in advance to avoid too many leftovers

Use Heaters Wisely

We are so dependent on hot water for many of our needs from washing our bodies to washing our dishes and clothes. Well, go green by choosing cold water for many activities in the house. Start by taking cold showers when the weather permits instead of hot tub baths. Then progress into using unheated tap water for washing your hands, dishes and clothes. Studies have shown that tap water is just as effective in killing germs as hot water. The trick is in washing your hands properly for 20 seconds, soaking the clothes for 30 minutes to remove stubborn dirt and washing off the dregs on the eating utensils before placing on a full dishwasher.

Unplug the Appliances

You can save as much as 10-15 percent of your electricity bill simply by unplugging the cords from their sockets when these are not in use. This is because so-called phantom electricity does not flow from the grid into your appliances. And speaking of appliances, you can save money by either buying ones with the Energy Star logo or ones that have been refurbished. Of course, make sure that the refurbished appliances are also energy-efficient. You ought to save money in the long run instead of sticking to your run-down appliances. However, do recycle said old appliances with the manufacturers or with the recycling centers.

Use Recycled Materials for Your Home

As much as possible, use recycled materials for your home. You can purchase scrap lumber from hardware stores, vintage wood and glass panels from garage sales and old houses, utensils and ornaments made of recycled materials from green stores and sites, to name a few options. You will often spend less on these items and yet get as much mileage as you possibly can from them. Better yet, you should adopt the motto of environmentalists everywhere - reduce, reuse and recycle. You will soon find that indeed being eco-friendly has its rewards for you and for your children's children.

Starting today, take a look around your home and see what else needs to be done to be as environmentally-friendly as possible.

Read about ways to start going green in the kitchen and more about the different ways to recycle.

Choose A Backup Software For Your Data Center Disaster Recovery Plan

A data center stores all the programs, files, applications and other digital information that a business needs to have, so they may reasonably compete against businesses using the internet. If their files where destroyed, this would bring the companies production to a halt, possibly causing a crushing blow to its positive cash flow. This is why it's absolutely critical to invest time and money in a reliable data center disaster recovery plan.

If you are already convinced that you must protect your data, then the next question is what exactly are we supposed to look for in a data center disaster recovery plan anyway?

It does not matter if you are a huge multinational corporation or a new business just entering your fast growth phase. Every business needs a first rate computer backup system.

Computer backup systems are a part of data center disaster recovery plans because they play the major role of safeguarding the pertinent data that keeps your business alive and restoring that data if a computer hardware failure occurs. Because of the importance of its function, selecting the right computer backup program is critical to your data center's disaster recovery plan.

Listed below are several facts to consider during your search for the best computer backup system:

Protection: How many levels of safety does the program have? Does it have a proper administrative login procedure? Can it keep your files intact in its own "vault" so they cannot leak out, get misplaced, or become erased? Determining what the program's security system can and cannot do is vital in making a selection. The program you want to choose must be capable of top-rate security.

Ease of Access: Even though you're backed up files have to be secure, at the same time they should be easily accessible. This encourages frequent updates and simplifies documentation procedures. An accessible system boosts the businesses efficiency, allowing more time to work on other important issues and responsibilities.

Storage Space: Storage pace is always a big issue for online computer backups. Even a small mom and pop business can have an amazing amount of data that needs to be stored. It's vital to know all your storage options and the limitations of your online computer backups, so you can confirm if it can, in fact, handle all or your valuable data.

Ease of Use: It isn’t a must-have requirement, but an easy to understand and operate program is a big plus for a number of reasons. A simple but effective program will be operated, verified, backed up, and given quality control checks more often. This minimizes the risk of file recovery disaster and increases the likelihood of a full recovery from computer crashes.

Dependability: Another important point to look for is if the program can store and restore your data completely when asked too without having to jump through any hoops? You should make sure it is easy to restore your data.

Don’t include yourself as one of the many businesses that do not pay enough attention to their data center disaster recovery plans. Neglecting to check if your computer backup system is up to restoring a file recovery disaster is going to be a painful experience when you most need it.

At all times you have to remember that depending on which computer backup system you select, it will make or break your data center disaster recovery plans. So be sure to take your time and pick wisely.

Beginners guide to starting an online business

Today the Internet is much more than a simple document storage/retrieval system. It is a great vehicle for anyone who wants to setup an online business with little or no money and a want-it-now attitude.

I have a programming background but it was not my technical know-how that allowed me succeed in this area but my trials and errors as an online business owner.

I have tried many opportunities and techniques but it was through my failures I've learnt and consolidated a simple technique to succeed as an online business owner.

I can assure you that, although you will need to acquire some basic technical skills, your success will depend not on your programming or typing skills but more on what you have between your ears.

Below is my list of what you'll need and have to do, to succeed as an online business owner.

1. Have a dream and persistence. If you haven't got a dream and the persistence to follow it through then you will fail, guarantied.

2. Have a mentor. Find someone who has gained the experience in this field. Beg, crawl, wash their car, do whatever takes to become their student. Listen to their advice and learn from their failures and successes. You'll save yourself a lot of time, effort and money not to mention heartache and disappointment.

3. Find a hobby, a 'pet' project, something you are interested in and would do without payment or rewards. If it gets you excited, keeps you awake at nights thinking about it, it will provide you with opportunities to make money from it too. For example, once you have a project/activity that you live for, be it surfing, stamp collection, video games, mobile phones, you could start a local club. Once the club is established you can start a club website. Once the website is up and running you can introduce products to promote the club and your project/activity. You get the picture? You probably have seen the film 'Pay it forward'. Well, you can use the same principle in establishing an online business. Give something valuable first and then you'll get your opportunities to reap your rewards.

4. Promote and automate your project website. Once you completed step 3 above and your site is up and running you want to be able to promote your club site to 'outsiders'. You don't have to get technical and bogged down in programming or writing strings of HTML code. There are brilliant software out there to do a lot of 'skilled' tasks with the push of a button (both free and commercial products). Learn to use them well! Promoting your website should be your priority from now on. Get as many people to come to the site as you can and automate this activity. Start a newsletter to keep in touch with your members and provide them with free advice, tips and news on the subject of your project/activity. And again, automate this too. Get software to automatically distribute your newsletters and automatically sort any emails you get in reply to your posts. Set up autoresponders signup new members and to respond to email queries; automate, automate, automate...

5. Once you have enough members and you have an established, loyal group of followers, you can introduce your promotional products and other services that you now want to sell and make money from as a business. You'll have to be gentle and do this bit by bit. You may also find it useful to have another, separate, commercial site for this purpose and simply direct your members there from your 'signature files' or 'letterheads' you send out as part of your club newsletter. By now you should have enough experience in setting up and running a website from step 3 above. If you did have a separate commercial site you run a smaller risk of offending 'purist' club members.

6. Review the operation of your site, experiment and test the effect of site layout, content, headlines etc. Review and look for opportunities to further automate anything that you can to make your site 'self-sustaining'. If you do this you should be able to get yourself more free time to actually enjoy your hobby/project and to go out and look for more new material (advice, tips and news) that you can send out to you members. Once you have a website running and are making money out of it, it is very easy to forget that without new content and looking after your members your business will not survive. So make sure that the time you have freed up by automating your processes, you put back into searching for and providing fresh content and keep on provide a service to your members and keep in mind that they are members because they share your enthusiasm for the hobby and not for your business. Find a gentle balance between that hobby and your commercial interests.

Wishing you success in your new adventure,
Ference

Download iTunes Tips - How to Download MP3s to Your iPod

Have you ever wanted to download iTunes MP3s to your iPod? Maybe you're a high school or college student attending multiple classes and you downloaded the MP3 audio of the lecture from the school's website. Or maybe, you were fortunate enough to have a great instructor who has provided you with an MP3 CD containing a lecture you missed.

Mom has called and wants you home this weekend to celebrate Grandma's 80th birthday knowing full well you have a midterm on Monday. A real dilemma. You need to keep Mom and Grandma happy, but you also need to study for Monday's mid term. I can't help with Mom and Grandma, but putting MP3's of class lectures into your iPod so you can listen to them while you're driving back and forth to school is a snap! I"ll tell you why. As an MP3 user, you already play audio files from your favorite musicians with Apple iTunes on your computer. These same files can be copied or downloaded from your PC to your iPod.

I'll tell you how. The beauty of iTunes is that it keeps a database of the songs, lectures, or any other digital recordings you have downloaded from the internet or uploaded from CD's. This digital "database" is called your library. Sounds complicated right? Well, it's not. Here's a little known fact about iTunes. The iTunes database is basically just an electronic pointer to where you have stored your MP3 audio flies. If you mistakenly add the same digital recordings more than once, the programming logic just updates the pointer.

If you have MP3 audio files on a CD or DVD, copy them first to your hard drive. This is especially smart if you use a laptop. Ever have a time where you wanted to listen to a favorite CD on the road or at Starbucks. Then you realized you left the CD at home and had not yet ripped them to your hard drive. Unfortunately, I have made that same mistake too many times to ever want to own up to it. Here is a very important reminder important when ripping music to your hard drive. Make sure you establish a logical filing system for your MP3's so you can tell iTunes where to retrieve the data at a later date.

From the main menu under file, select add file to library to add one, or maybe a few MP3's or select add folder to library to add all the MP3 files in a folder (or directory for Windows users). Shazaammm....your new files are added to your library. Finally, synchronize our iPod and listen to your new additions.

SEO Services: Good or Bad?

The search engines play a major part in online marketing. SEO (search engine optimization) services are provided by marketing companies to help you gain targeted traffic through Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and other major or minor search engines. But are SEO services good or bad for your business? Should you use a marketing company's SEO services or try to "woo" the search engines into picking you as a leader and an authoritative company all on your own? Here are some things to consider.

SEO Services can be Valuable

Unfortunately as a business owner, you usually are torn between two important aspects of your business - promotion and operation. You've probably heard this phrase many times... "You are too busy working in your business to work on your business." This statement still holds true with Internet business. Whether you are offering services to a small group of clients, have a giant corporation, or own an online retail store, you face the same dilemma.

Using another company's SEO services can benefit you in several ways. One, it frees your time for other important matters. Two, you are able to receive help from someone who spends all their time analyzing and testing the search engines for results. They already know what it could take you years to learn! Three, you can save time and money for other types of promotions if you're not spending all your time trying to race your competitors to the top of the listings.

Things to Look for in SEO Services and an SEO Firm

SEO services can include many different types of services such as keyword density help for all your web pages, search engine submission, search engine optimization to target certain areas of the world or your country or state, and/or content writing services. For example, the company may offer UK search engine optimisation if your market generally lives in the U.K. They might write keyword-rich articles for you or provide you with a steady list of new keywords you can add to your site pages to make your site more search engine friendly.

Choose an SEO service that provides the most value for your money. Be sure they have experience in SEO rankings and can provide you with a valid list of company references that you can contact if needed. Check with the Better Business Bureau online to be sure the company doesn't have excessive customer complaints.

Also, choose a company that offers proof that their system has worked in the past. There are no guarantees that any system will work every time, but having proof of past successes will give you peace of mind that the company really knows its stuff. Talk with the SEO consultant to find out how they plan to improve your search engine rankings ahead of time. Ask them to explain the process to you.

Beware of Scams

If an SEO company makes amazing promises such as those promising to get your site listed at the top of Google under your major keyword within 30 days for only $19.95, this should be a red flag. This promise is unrealistic, especially if your business is brand new. Also, the company cannot actually "guarantee" a top listing. They can only guarantee that your site will get listed under some of your major keywords. You might attract traffic under hundreds of keywords after using legitimate SEO services.

The one thing to remember about SEO services is that it must be an ongoing process. Don't expect any SEO firm to work miracles overnight. They must analyze your business, study your market, find suitable keywords for your business, and begin a series of changes to optimize your site for the best possible results.

Debt Reduction Tools

Those who are in debt need a mechanism or tools to help them get out of it. Debt reduction tools are ways to make the burden less. The best reduction tool is the concept of planning for the future and your expenditure. There are also many financial debt consultants, who can make the repayment of your debt easier. These consultants can negotiate to get the tenures extended or get you further loans to pay back the existing loan. At times this strategy can help and at times, this may also backfire.

The concept of budgeting is very old. Budget means to map out the incomes, expenditures and any unforeseen expenditure that you might have. Therefore when you look at the monthly incomings and outgoings, you would find that budgeting can be used as a debt reduction tool, which is very beneficial. Write down the incomes, that you receive from all sources and then write all the expenditure down. In case you have expenditure more than income, then you would be going in for debt. If the reverse is true, then you have a saving. By reducing the debt, you are freeing up financial resources, which can be utilized for investments, and saving purposes.

Another debt reduction tool is to repay back all the debts. However this is not possible. Debts are small term, medium term and long term debts, which varied tenures and interest rates. Classify the debts according to this classification, this is the first step to start. By paying off the smallest loan first and you are already utilizing the tools for debt reduction yourself. Talk to the banks and see if they are ready to negotiate for lower interest rates. Many a times, banks will negotiate for a lower interest rates and this means that there is a debt reduction for you.

Bolster Your Willpower With Stop Smoking Hypnosis Therapy

What is Stop Smoking Hypnosis Therapy?

If you're a smoker, you've no doubt been alerted— by family members, doctors and even perfect strangers—to the dangers of smoking. Cancer, emphysema and heart disease are only some of the health issues associated with long term smoking habits. If you're ready to quit, but just can't find the willpower, you should strongly consider a stop smoking hypnosis program. The process of stop smoking hypnosis therapy includes manipulating your own subconscious into helping you break the psychological addiction to smoking cigarettes. The sooner you are able to quit smoking, the sooner your health risks will be reduced.

How Does Stop Smoking Hypnosis Work

Stop smoking hypnosis therapy is conducted by a hypno-therapist who has been trained to provide suggestions to your subconscious mind. By replacing your natural cigarette triggers, such as driving or eating, with subconscious reminders about the positive effects of quitting smoking, the hypno-therapist gives your own willpower an internal support system. Hypnotherapy can undermine your natural predilection to smoke by sublimating your cravings and improving your confidence in your ability to quit. Stop smoking hypnosis can also be administered at home via CD or through other audio technology. The use of hypnosis to cure the habit of smoking has varying results, depending on your susceptibility to being hypnotized, but many people adamantly proclaim that the therapy allowed them to quit smoking with virtually no withdrawal symptoms or cravings.

Advantages of Stop Smoking Hypnosis

There are many advantages to participating in a stop smoking hypnosis program. While there are a profusion of products on the market to help you quit smoking, including nicotine patches and gums, hypnosis therapy has some unique benefits. Some of these benefits include:

* Significant decrease in health risks if the therapy is successful
* The treatment is completely drug free
* Therapy can be completed quickly and has no long-term cost involvement
* Stop smoking hypnosis therapy can also boost your confidence in other areas of your life
* Therapy focuses on the positive, instead of resisting something you love, you're trained to be happy about getting rid of something that is hurting you.
* Therapy can be tailored to address your personal smoking triggers and habits

How to Find a Stop Smoking Hypnosis Program

There are many outlets by which you can locate a stop smoking hypnosis problem. Many therapists advertise on the internet, while some can be found in the phone directory. Finding the right therapist to help you quit smoking is a matter of personal preference. You can find help at http://stop-smoking-methods.org

If you are uncomfortable meeting with someone personally, or if there are no therapists locally, there are many stop smoking hypnosis programs available on cassette and CD that can be used in the privacy of your home. Whatever course you choose, you should feel happy with your decision to quit smoking. As the commercials say “Quitting smoking now greatly reduces serious risks to your health.”

The Evolution Of Kitchen Home Appliances In An Age-Free Environment

The “new” retirement would wisely be referred to as “unretirement,” a decades-long, active, involved extension of life. Home will be headquarters during this exciting stage of life, and the kitchen will be command central. From untraditional housing styles to universal design, the kitchen will be the first true age-free space.

Kitchen-Centric Housing

Retirement age is dropping steadily and even people in their twenties and thirties eagerly contemplate their move into the phase of life that used to mean the end of all that mattered. Not so in the 21st century; unretirement can bring new freedoms, lucrative ventures, broader horizons, personal fulfillment and global connections - and all this as you sit at the kitchen table enjoying a morning coffee. Kitchens will continue to come in all shapes, sizes and price ranges. They will always be loved as much for their flaws as their charm and convenience. Housing styles and development patterns that isolate residents and create urban sprawl will be replaced by designs and plans that are both environmentally sound and people friendly. One trend will shift couples and single homeowners towards compact, green new homes and away from energy- hungry monster houses. These scaled-down residences will not just be smaller, they’ll be smarter. For instance, some homeowners may concentrate food production in the kitchen through hydroponic or soilless gardening in glassed-in extensions that double as dining rooms. Kitchen-centric, multi-unit housing will become more common with home-like variations that include:

• cluster homes constructed around central courtyards that function as common outdoor eating areas and kitchen gardens,

• co-housing communities which integrate separate family units with communal recreation and eating areas to strengthen community connections, and

• mingle-style high-rise units with private bed-sitting rooms radiating off central kitchens and living areas to offer affordable, elegant lifestyles.

Our First Age-Free Environments

Too often thoughts of the future focus on how technology will change our lives, ignoring an important fact: we’re going to change, too. Every aspect of life will be touched as the demographic revolution represented by almost 10 million Baby Boomers moves through life. Kitchens will be our first age-free spaces as they transform into multi-purpose, multigeneration work and entertainment spaces where safety and functionality are paramount for all sizes, shapes and abilities of users. Children and grandchildren, parents and grandparents, the able-bodied and those with disabilities must all be comfortable socializing, cooking and eating in these activity centres. Age-Free environments have flexibility designed in. Universal Design, an emerging concept that will soon become commonplace, stresses the elimination of all barriers to functionality and enjoyment for everyone. These Age-Free features range from wide hallways, levered door handles and adjustable-height counters to visually-cued ergonomic design applied to everything from control knobs to furniture. All of which furnish a kitchen that allows the joy of cooking to be the focal point.

Voice-activated appliances with robotic features for repetitive tasks like cleaning and equipment maintenance will be among future innovations that save time, effort and money. Comfort will be ensured by advances in computer-chip embedded products and materials like chameleon wall surfaces which change colour on demand to match mood and weather, and heated floors that recognize the walker and automatically adjust room temperature to suit that person’s preprogrammed preferences.

Room for Improvement

Home owners and tenants will continue to strive for a personal balance of affordability and luxury in their homes. Not every family or community will have access to the same levels of technology and sophistication of design—there will still be room for improvement. Here are a few improvements that may be available to you:

• Food shopping will shift from a time-consuming physical task to an automatic electronic undertaking.

Home appliances that continuously monitor freshness and inventory levels will automatically place orders with grocery warehouses and food distributors to ensure you never run out of anything.

• Bulk ordering and cooperative arrangements for purchasing food and other goods will cut costs and support essential local infrastructures within subdivisions, condominium complexes and neighbourhoods.

• Systems and equipment will have back up capacity to protect food during power brown outs and failures. Some kitchens may be designed to double as a self-contained safe living environment in times of natural disaster, pandemic or interruption of municipal services.

• Your refrigerator, through its wireless connection to the health monitor you’ll wear, may keep track of calories, salt or other health issues for you and make suggestions or issue warnings when you open the door. Particularly outside urban areas, online medical services will reinforce the connection between nutrition and wellness using the kitchen as the health hub. No aspect of home and housing will see as many changes as the multi-purpose kitchen over the coming decades. Since the origins of the word “kitchen” relate only to cooking, these evolving spaces may eventually even earn themselves a new name.
